The opportunity to construct three outstanding villas on a large block with uninterrupted 180-degree views of the mountain, the city and the Derwent River was an exciting prospect.

Loci architecture and planning managed to integrate the stunning aspect and views with the large indoor-outdoor living spaces of all three villas, still retaining privacy. The huge double glazed 3- and 4-stacker doors give the living room and deck an outstanding flow and connection. The use of timber to the upper soffits and internal fit-out softens the feel of the otherwise clean-cut lines throughout.

The project had uncertain times as Covid threatened to put a halt to the progress shortly after commencing the first villa, but with the construction sector being classed an essential service, the project progressed steadily through to its completion with great public interest.
